Ga\u00ebtan Barlot, for his part, is heading for another operation on his neck.<\/p>\n<p>The international window adds to it: the France squad gathered at Marcoussis on Monday, and round 7 closed with three players called up by Galthi\u00e9 going off injured during La Rochelle-UBB. The status of Gazzotti, Zapedowski, Pkhakadze, Buros and Falatea has to be settled by Saturday.<\/p>\n<h2>Bayonne took a lesson, and they know it<\/h2>\n<p>On Saturday at Jean-Dauger, Bayonne lost 27-31 to Lyon after leading 24-12, a defensive bonus their only salvage. Matthieu Uhila said it bluntly: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ici.fr\/nouvelle-aquitaine\/pyrenees-atlantiques-64\/bayonne\/vide-o-on-s-est-pris-pour-d-autres-peste-matthieu-uhila-apres-la-defaite-de-l-aviron-bayonnais-contre-lyon-3228780\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cwe took ourselves for others\u201d<\/a>. Ged Fraser, the manager, speaks of a \u201cwake-up call\u201d and asks his team to go \u201cto Bordeaux with a completely different face\u201d. Rodrigo Bruni, out against Lyon, and Mat\u00e9o Carreras, who left training last Wednesday, are the two doubts of the week.<\/p>\n<p>The run of fixtures offers no mercy: two tricky away trips, Bordeaux then La Rochelle, with the stated aim of \u201cpicking up points from one of the two\u201d. The away reference exists all the same: Bayonne won 17-20 at Racing 92 on 26 September. Since then, two defeats, at Toulouse (45-34) and at home to Lyon.<\/p>\n<h2>At 1.18, the market has left no doubt<\/h2>\n<p>UBB are 1.18 with Betano, roughly five chances in six, and the price has hardened since the open (1.26). On the main handicap, twelve and a half points: UBB -12.5 at 1.85, Bayonne +12.5 at 1.90 with 1xbet, price taken this Monday. A single bookmaker quotes the line, at a 6.7% margin.<\/p>\n<p>Twelve and a half points for a team rebuilding its second row in the middle of an international window, against a side humbled but warned: that is where I look for the gap. I make it 55% that Bayonne stay within twelve points; the market makes it 49%.<\/p>\n<h2>My bet: Bayonne +12.5<\/h2>\n<p>I take Aviron Bayonnais +12.5 at 1.90 with 1xbet. Half-point line, no push: a Bayonne win, a draw or a defeat by twelve points or fewer and the bet is won (+$22.50 for a $25 stake); a defeat by thirteen points or more and it is lost (-$25).<\/p>\n<p>55% against 49%: the gap is thin and does not survive blending with the market&#8217;s view, so the stake is minimal, 0.25 units, and I say so plainly. The line is quoted by a single bookmaker at a 6.7% margin: nothing to load up on.
