The day also produced a French quarter-finalist, Arthur Gea, and emptied the top of the draw.<\/p>\n<h2>Zverev inherits the throne, and says so<\/h2>\n<p>7-6 (6), 4-6, 7-6 (1) in two hours 40 minutes: the world No. 2 was pushed all the way by Bublik, two tie-breaks to get through, and he knows his luck. &#8220;The fact that I clinched the year-end No. 1 spot is of course down to Jannik&#8217;s absence, unfortunately&#8221;, he said in his press conference, promising &#8220;a special moment&#8221; when the rankings flip.
