Tottenham: Wilson Odobert back in training nine months after ACL rupture
Nine months after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament, Tottenham forward Wilson Odobert has returned to individual training, the club announced on Wednesday. His return changes nothing about Leeds - Tottenham on Saturday.

“Wilson working his way back 💪”: Tottenham have posted on X the first footage of Wilson Odobert in individual training. The 21-year-old French forward is back at work nine months after his injury.
The reference point: 11 February, in a Premier League game against Newcastle. There Odobert ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, as Foot Mercato reports. Since then, not a single appearance, and the club’s video comes with no date for a return to competition. The work is individual for now; the squad sessions will follow.
Signed from Burnley in the summer of 2024, Odobert had made only 33 appearances for Tottenham, with 2 goals and 4 assists. So Foot sums it up as the end of a long ordeal, with lost time to make up.
At Elland Road on Saturday, the price does not move
The return changes nothing about Leeds – Tottenham on Saturday (12:30 GMT at Elland Road): with no return date, Odobert is not expected to travel. At the last check, 1xbet priced Leeds at 2.68, the draw at 3.57 and Tottenham at 2.76, barely more than a one-in-three chance for either side once the bookmaker margin is stripped out. Tottenham’s price has already shortened since the odds went up, from 2.86 to 2.76.
Form points one way. Tottenham, ninth on 12 points, arrive on the back of three straight league wins, one of them at Chelsea (2-0). Leeds, 12th on 11 points, have not won in five. Across the last five meetings between the two clubs, Tottenham have never lost: four wins and a draw.
