Paris – Partizan: can Carlik Jones punish another loose Paris start?

Partizan won 79-92 at the Adidas Arena, Carlik Jones with 20 points, and my bet on Partizan at 2.18 has won (+$118).

Kick-off :
Paris – Partizan Mozzart Bet · EuroLeague · 79-92

Paris coughed the ball up 17 times in Athens; Partizan lost it 10 times against Milan. One game each, but the market has ruled within twenty-four hours: Paris shortens from 1.761 to 1.722 with 1xbet, Partizan drifts to 2.35 before settling at 2.30 with Bet365. My Serbian bet, taken at 2.18 with Betano, stays at one unit: on this game, the market and I disagree.

Jones set the tempo, Paris handed him the ball

The EuroLeague game sheet counts 17 Paris turnovers at Panathinaikos, 10 for Partizan against Milan. Carlik Jones posted 20 points and 10 assists, and the round 1 MVP award. Against a point guard who keeps the ball clean, every Paris turnover becomes one more assist for Jones. First job at the Adidas Arena: protect the ball handler.

No Willis, and the Serbian rotation tightens

Sport Klub confirms: Derek Willis, hurt against Milan, is out for several weeks, re-evaluated in three to four. Marinković remains doubtful on his return from Achilles surgery, Lauvergne is questionable, Jabari Parker is out of the squad. Joan Peñarroya said it before the season: “we are missing one or two players”. On a run of Paris, then Bayern, then Mega Superbet in the ABA, every minute will count.

On the Paris side, the injury report lists six uncertain players, two of whom transfer reporters already have elsewhere; the club says nothing. Without confirmation, I prepare this game with a full Paris squad.

  • The Paris pressure on Jones from the very first possession.
  • The minutes of the Serbian interior rotation without Willis, spread across the bench.
  • The real state of the Paris squad, on which the club has confirmed nothing.

Two double weeks from the start

Partizan follow Paris with Bayern on Friday; Paris host Žalgiris on Thursday. Six of Partizan’s first nine games come on the road. Rotation freshness will show in the last five minutes, where these games are decided.

At 2.30, you need to believe in Partizan less than yesterday

The main spread, down to -3 yesterday, is back to -2.5: 1.96 on Paris with Unibet. The move goes to the home favourite, and it makes sense: Belgrade travel shorthanded, Paris are back in their building. At 2.30, the Partizan bet pays off from 44 wins in 100; my estimate yesterday was 51. Serbia’s absences push it down, Paris’s uncertainties hold it up: the margin thins, it still holds.

I keep Partizan to win at 2.18 with Betano, for 1 unit: my ticket is locked at that price. At 2.30 with Bet365 this Monday, the same bet would pay a new ticket better. The Kelly and unit stake calculator lets you test your own estimate; mine, with its result, stays in the public record. 18+. Only bet what you can afford to lose.

79-92: Partizan took the game in the second quarter

Paris led 18-15 after ten minutes at the Adidas Arena, then Partizan took over: 29-22 in the second quarter, 44-40 at the break, and a gap that kept growing to the final horn. Nadir Hifi kept the home side alive (19 points), Jared Rhoden added 14 points and 9 rebounds, and Carlik Jones ran the other end: 20 points, 5 assists, 3 steals.

My one-unit bet on Partizan, taken at 2.18 with Betano, has won: +$118. I had taken it against a Paris favourite, and the close, 2.25, still had Paris in front; Partizan answered with authority, a win built from the second quarter on.
