Bayern – Dubai: the favourites return to Munich, where they won last season
Dubai Basketball win 107-91 at the SAP Garden, a third straight road win. My Bayern +3.5 taken at 2.00 is lost: $25 to the public record.

Last season Dubai beat Bayern twice, including an 87-74 at the SAP Garden in March. On Thursday, Pascual’s side are back in Munich, and the market has made them favourites: 1.65 with Unibet on Wednesday, against an opening 1.70.
A rested Bayern against the wave
Bayern have not played a EuroLeague game since 16 October, an 87-95 defeat at Besiktas, and sit on two wins from six rounds. At home, the SAP Garden has protected nobody: 0-2 in the EuroLeague, 15th in the standings. Their most recent outing was an emphatic 85-63 German Cup win at the Hamburg Towers on 18 October. The rest is real, and so are the returning bodies: Jensen, Jokubaitis and Voigtmann, absent from the sheet in the last European round, all played in the Cup at the weekend.
Dubai are the opposite: 4-2, back-to-back EuroLeague road wins at Baskonia and then Milan, 101-97 behind 29 points from Bacon, plus an ABA League still perfect, 108-90 over SC Derby on Monday. Pascual said as much after that game: now for the European away trip to Munich.
A fifth-ranked defence against a turnover problem
The style of the game writes itself. Dubai own the fifth-best defence in the league (82.2 points conceded) and Europe’s third top scorer in Bacon, 17.8 a night; Bayern remain the most generous team with the ball, as Gavel admitted himself after the win in Istanbul. Washington answers off the bench at 16.8 points per game, the sixth-best tally in the competition.
No injury is confirmed on either side: the daily reports have not been filed yet. Dubai travel with their usual doubts, Musa (knee) and Anderson (hamstring) have yet to play this season; the sources disagree on Musa, doubtful rather than ruled out. Bayern list no injured player.
The bet: three and a half points against the wave
The main line has settled at 3.5 points; I will take it at 2.00 with 888Sport. I give Bayern a 52% chance of winning or losing by three or fewer, barely more than the coin flip the price implies.
I prefer the points to the outright: at 2.50, Bayern would have to beat the form team in Europe, whose price has already shortened since the open. With +3.5, the bet survives a narrow defeat: a home win, or a loss by one, two or three points, all of it lands. Four points or more erase it, $25 down for $25 up.
0.25 units, the minimum: my edge on the market is thin, and the staking method does not flatter close reads. The bet joins the public record for what it is: a contrarian position at a small price. 18+. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
107-91: the wave takes the SAP Garden
Dubai Basketball win 107-91 in Munich: sixteen points apart, and my +3.5 line finished nowhere near. A third straight road win for Pascual’s team, after Baskonia and Milan, and 107 points scored, twenty-five above their season average. The boxscore is in the official game center.
Bayern played their score, 91 points, four above their own average. Their defence conceded 107, and the SAP Garden stays at 0-3 in the EuroLeague. Taken on Wednesday at 2.00, the line closed at the same price: the market stuck to its read to the end. The $25 of the minimum stake join the public record.
