England beat Croatia 7-0 in Rijeka on Saturday, four goals before half-time, doubles from Kane and Saka. Thomas Tuchel had reshuffled his side: Scott for a first cap, Quansah and Hall from the start, Alexander-Arnold on the bench. On Tuesday, Wembley hosts the only team in the group still on zero points.
Denia’s Czechia are still waiting for a point
Santi Denia, appointed in the summer, is still waiting for his first point. In Oviedo on Saturday his side lost 3-1: a goal from Sláma, an equaliser disallowed for a Červ foul on Le Normand, and captain Krejčí sent off in the 85th minute, a second yellow for protests that rules him out of Wembley. Four days earlier in Prague they had already lost 0-2 to England and finished with ten men after Šulc’s red card in the first half: a 19-match unbeaten run at home ended that night.
Tuchel rotates, the level holds
England’s month has been played without part of the first-choice squad:
- Livramento, Mainoo, Palmer, Rashford and Rice, ruled out of the window, replaced by Garner and Gibbs-White;
- Nico O’Reilly, who left the camp on Thursday to treat an injury;
- Ezri Konsa and Alex Scott, ruled out on Monday and sent back to their clubs, while Rico Lewis was added on Saturday; the group remains at 22 players;
- the official XIs are out for Tuesday: Tuchel keeps Quansah and Hall, recalls Alexander-Arnold, and starts Eze and Rogers around Bellingham behind Kane; at the other end Sláma, Oviedo’s scorer, starts too.
In Rijeka, the reshuffled side did the job anyway. This England team have kept their goal untouched twice in a row, 0-2 in Prague then 7-0; against Spain at Wembley they conceded three.

Czechia have scored against Croatia and Spain; England, in Prague, are the only side to have kept them out.
What the price says
England traded at 1.18 with 10BET on Sunday; they have since shortened to 1.14. Czechia have drifted from 20.0 to 23.0 with 1xbet. There is still nothing to take on the winner. On both teams to score, the no remains 1.67 with 888Sport: the market puts that scenario close to 60%.
My bet: no on both teams to score, at 1.67
I took the no at 1.67 with 888Sport on Sunday, 0.5 units ($50); the movement of the past two days has been on the winner, that price has not moved. The winning scenario: England’s defence repeats Prague, and a Czech side without Krejčí stays silent. The losing one: Sláma or someone else finds the net while England score theirs; Czechia have hit the net twice this month, so the risk is real. I still make the no 63%, against 58.4% for the market. The edge is thin, and so is the stake.
If at least one team fails to score, the bet wins and pays $33.50. If both score, it is down, $50 gone. The stake follows my staking rule; the bet joins my public record. 18+. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
Czechia: zero points, zero shots on target
England beat Czechia 3-0 at Wembley without needing to leave second gear. Coufal turned Kane’s cross into his own net on 27 minutes; Kane finished a Rogers centre on 40 and headed in a Hall corner on 57. Three goals, Kane involved in all three, on his 125th cap: Shilton’s record equalled. Czechia had five shots, none of them on target, and stay on zero points after four rounds.
My bet, no on both teams to score at 1.67 with 888Sport, needed the England defence to keep the door shut: Prague repeated itself at Wembley. That is $33.50 for half a unit. England line up three wins in four matches and fourteen goals scored; Czechia stay rooted on zero points.
