Le Mans lose Bourabaa for the trip to Paris Saint-Germain
Injured in his first match for Algeria, Adil Bourabaa will miss the visit of Le Mans to the Parc des Princes on Saturday, matchday six of Ligue 1. The promoted side lose the player involved in five of their nine league goals.

Adil Bourabaa celebrated his first Algeria call-up during the international break. He came back with a damaged ankle. Injured in his first match for his country, the attacking midfielder will miss the visit of Le Mans to the Parc des Princes on Saturday evening, matchday six of Ligue 1. According to Foot Mercato, which broke the news, he is expected to be “unavailable for several weeks”, with further examinations due to establish the exact nature of the injury. L’Équipe has confirmed the absence.
The promoted side lose their breakout player
Bourabaa is 21 and arrived from Beauvais, then in the French third tier, in February. Five rounds into the season he has three goals and two assists in Ligue 1, plus an Algeria call-up earned as early as September. For a promoted side sitting ninth with six points, he is the difference between stealing a point and spending the evening chasing the ball.
What the absence changes at the Parc
On Wednesday, Le Mans to score was still priced at 2.10 with Betano, while Paris Saint-Germain traded at 1.09. That price will read differently on Saturday: Le Mans have taken one point from two away league games, and they now visit the Parc des Princes without their main creator.
Paris could line up without Warren Zaïre-Emery. According to Foot Mercato, citing L’Équipe, the midfielder has a small lesion in his left thigh and the staff want to protect him before their Champions League meeting with Manchester City. Senny Mayulu, doubtful, may join him on the sidelines. The club have confirmed nothing.
